Nursery 3s - Great Big You! Spring 1 - 2024
This half term our learning has been focused around change and growing. We looked at photos of us as babies and talked about how we have changed as we grew. This led the children to think about how old they are and talk about birthdays. We are building up to a birthday party for Sal, our Nursery persona doll and the children have done all the planning!
Alongside this, we have focused our Art learning around Pablo Picasso. We looked at some of his work and talked about how it made us feel. The children looked at themselves in mirrors, talking about their features before becoming artists and doing their own self portraits. After half term, we will display all of these portraits in an art gallery in our school hall for parents to see.
