Year 2 Sunderland Mystery Tour
Year 2 went on a Mystery Tour of Sunderland in relation to our 'Super Sunderland' Topic. We started our tour off by climbing 93 steps to the top of Penshaw Monument and read the Lambton Worm book! We drove over Northern Spire Bridge and spotted the River Wear underneath us. We made our way to the Stadium of Light looked around the outside of the building and we even stopped to see the 'Bob Stokoe' statue. Finally we visited Roker Park and had a picnic by the beach before continuing our adventure round the park practicing our map skills to help us.
